Lessons We’ve Learned

Welcome to a new episode of the Money Team with Bob Blayter.

To begin our show we offered our prayers to Mid-West and those who have been suffering due to the recent tornadoes.

We opened up discussion to callers and asked for people to share the most important lesson they’ve learned about money. We also touched on saving money on fun things, how to enjoy life and partake in entertainment without breaking the bank.

To finish up our show we wanted to remind listeners about our 5% challenge introduced last week.

The 5% Challenge

Welcome to another episode of the Money Team with Bob Blayter. Today we have an eclectic mix of subjects and first, we finish up our insurance discussion which focused on term, auto, and homeowners insurance.

After the first break Bob introduced his 5% Challenge beginning with a reading from Second Corinthians chapter 8, verse 6. His idea for this movement or personal challenge is that if you already have a skill or a talent which you’re very good at, Bob has suggested that you donate 5% of your time using your skill to help someone who needs that talent but may not be able to afford it.

We’re also joined by Larry Bofman and Nikki Freitag from their show on sister station KKNT. Listen to “Life Matters” a program dedicated to improving your quality of life.  You’re invited to tune in to their show Sunday 5 to 6 PM MST on KKNT Radio 960 AM
